Why Wholeness In Motion?

“Wellness” is an economic issue as well as a health issue. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration declared stress a hazard of the workplace. And stress permeates all of our lives. Today, the economy and employers demand that we “do more with less.” (Go to the Corporate Classes section for more information on the cost of stress to the workplace.)

  • Stress has a direct effect on immune response and deficiency, memory loss and obesity. Stress can contribute to heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.

Tai chi relieves stress through exercise, physical relaxation, meditation and giving you a mental “holiday” from stressful situations. Because this is a martial art, psychological and philosophical coping strategies are an added benefit

Now, more than ever, there is a greater and greater need for focused relaxation.

Tai chi is a “wholeness” exercise, involving the body and the mind. You are learning to move and function in a whole way. It’s Wholeness In Motion.
